“The Fair of the Throne” is an association created by a collective of individuals around a project of the availability - hiring with animation/sensitizing - dry toilets on the festivals, private events and demonstrations (marriages…).
We are localized on the area and function since May 2006.
The purpose of our association is much broader than our real activity, for the moment: “The planet on which we live does not have enough resources to support the rate/rhythm of consumption and pollution imposed by the economic growth; since what is not marketable is hidden to us, association the Fair of the throne proposes, on its ladder, of the emergency solutions to leave the planetary ecological crisis; it will aim at promoting the safeguarding of the environment.”
Our operative paragraph of dry toilets consists of a flexible space from one to eight cabins - including one accessible to the handicapped people.
We intervened on several festivals on Tours and its area in 2006:
“ de Tours”, festival with Tours (37) accommodating more than 09 500 festival over five days
“Currents”, festival with (37) accommodating more than 4.000 festival over 4 days
“Festival of the Wind” with Tours over one weekend
“”, national meeting of the brass bands coeds in Tours over one weekend

one day organized by a community of commune in Two-Sevres
a marriage around Paris…
Our activity is also conceived like a militant activity in favor of a radical change of our behaviors.
We also plan to take part in activities of sensitizing bound for the schools.
In a preoccupation with a coherence, we prefer to register our activities in a local tissue and avoid great displacements.
